On Wednesday Week 2 Summer Term, LUSU involve will be hosting an action packed day of environmental activities with 10 local schools and nearly 200 pupils.
All the schools are currently working towards their Green Flag certification on the Eco Schools award program and Lancaster University students have been visiting the schools over the last term to help develop the projects they run. This event is the culmination of all their hard work and will celebrate the excellent activities they have done so far.
Activities will include making – and firing! – rockets from recycled bottles; learning about the ecological importance of bees by making items from local bees-wax, and powering a variety of electrical equipment just by cycling.
