PGCE Week is coming!

by Laura Catherall on Tue 07th Aug 2012 |

After a term of hard work, exams, dissertations and essays, it’s time to make the most of your well earned break by taking part in LUSU involve’s PGCE week.

If you have an interest in teaching or working with children then this week long program of events will give you the chance to develop vital skills employers love!

This year we have a wide range of primary, secondary and SEN school experiences on offer, as well as the chance to work with experts in PGCE applications, Behaviour Management and Working with SEN pupils.

You will also get the opportunity to plan and deliver your own events to schools, take part in on campus events involving several local schools and spend time in primary and secondary classrooms.

Because demand for PGCE week places is high we offer applicants the opportunity to tell us why they should be involved at a short interview and participate in a group interview. Please only sign up if you are able to commit to the whole program, which  will be running from noon on Friday week 8 through Monday-Friday of week 9, making the whole program 6 days long!

PGCE applications training is provided by CEEC.
