Lancaster and Heysham Libraries had a fun-filled day last week, when students from our international partner institutions ran a storytelling and craft afternoon for local children.

Telling traditional stories form their childhood, students worked together with local children between 0-12yrs to create a giant storybook form around the world. More than 30 children turned up at Heysham library, ready and raring to get stuck in with painting, puppet-making and origami. Swapping stories, sharing experiences, learning languages and talking football, the day had an energetic buzz and was enjoyed by all.
