The Religion and Culture Project involves designing and running 2 events per term on different topics related to Religion and Culture.
The aim of the project is to make pupils more aware of different religions and the cultural significance of these religions. Sessions will be based on topics such as ‘What does it mean to be British’, International Cultures, and Religious Festivals. We will be working with two schools based in Lancaster, Willow Lane and Dallas Road Primary Schools.
As a volunteer, you will be involved in creating and delivering activities for each event. Your energy and enthusiasm will bring the topics to life for the pupils and help them to get to grips with different cultures. This is a groudbreaking and unique project working with both schools and your involvement will be key to its success.
