Please say a huge thank you to the volunteers – thought the way they so quickly built up a rapport and relationship with the children was impressive. — Mr Babcock, Flakefleet Primary School

Homeless Football Coaching

last updated by Jonny on Tue 07th May 2013 |

The Lancaster & District Homeless Action Shelter have just launched a new local team to enter the Homeless Football League. We are looking for volunteers to work with the service users to coach and train them – and hopefully lead them to championship glory!Football_iu_1996

Working with staff members and volunteers from LDHAS, you will help develop not just footballing skills among the homeless clients, but also to foster an environment of team work and cooperation too.

There may even be opportunities to attend events with Premier League and Championship clubs, as well as supporting local tournaments and events.
